Hi Jean! You are so creative to develop this idea. Look at what I did! The forms are not as smooth as I would like but
they work! No, they are not lopsided on the stand. I am lopsided. The pants form did not collapse. I captured the fat rolls
around my waist and the identations from surgery. No wonder I have trouble fitting! You are seeing the blouse that is the
beginning of my summer wardrobe. The fitting is like playing with a baby doll....... I love the forms and look forward to
your next class. Fondly, Rose
You worked so hard and so many hours that I was beginning to feel quilty. What a fantastic mind you have for setting
all this stuff up. You are truly an amazing person with a lovely personality to go with it.
It was my pleasure. Hope you enjoy my testimonial and that it will be helpful to you. I wanted to do a video
for you that day, but would have had trouble putting words together because I was concentrating so hard on what you were helping
us with.
Have a good summer and God Bless You. You work so hard. Thank you.

It was a treat to be in Jean's class--to have the opportunity to make an exact dressform of myself! I see the dressform
as being a key tool to solving fitting problems I've faced with flat pattern alterations and opening design options I couldn't
create without a sewing partner. She's a fantastic teacher in keeping the workshop atmosphere light, non-judgmental, and constructive.
It can be a soberingly honest reality check to see yourself as a dressform. She spent time with every student in creating
and fine tuning each one's dressform. Her demonstration instructions and hints were very clear and informative.
I look forward to taking more classes with Jean and highly recommend this workshop.

Just wanted to let you know how valuable class was. I cannot wait ot start sewing pants that fit. Besides not being able
to find pants that fit many of them are just not my taste.
Can't wait to see you next week for the cover class!

HI Jean,
I have taken 5 of your classes and learn so much each time. I now have a wonderful dress and pant form that are
my exact replica and make fitting a pattern a cinch. I have taken numerous pant fitting classes from others ; but,
this last one from you on "fitting a pant pattern "was an eye opener, and made so much sense. I can now make a pair of pants
without all that gaposis under the hip ,and in back of the thigh .To top it all off , it fits and is flattering.
I appreciate so much your personalized instruction in the class and your unique tips on fitting. You have now
taken the frustration out of my sewing life. Patricia in Michigan
Jean, I just wanted to post an official thank-you for a great class. I finished up my first dress last night using the dressform
and it fits me perfectly. Completely perfectly. I'm totally in love with it. Without the dressform it would have come out
too large and hanging terribly on me. With my form I was able to adjust the pattern pieces to my size. As cheesy as it sounds,
I feel like my sewing life is changed!

Jean,
How much do I love my new clone? Since the class I have
adjusted an heirloom blouse that I made too big. Using the princess lines,
I was able to dart out the excess in just the right places. Today I
fit a sweater I knit that was also too big. Tomorrow, I am going to try
and fit a skirt based on the presentation you gave at ASG. How did I
live without this? Can't wait for the next class!! Pam
Hi Jean,
I really enjoyed the class. I am a very casual sewer, not at all professional, but sometimes I would just like
to make my clothes fit. After taking the class, I put two blouses on the form and wahla ( sp?), I could see where the problems
are. One needs darts and the other needs to have the lower back widened--both are things that I can do fairly easily.

Last Friday I took the draping class using the dressform of one of my friends. Using a pattern from what I
thought was a great pattern company, Jean demonstrated just how bad a regular pattern was made to fit. I learned
more in this class than I have in years of taking fitting classes and still not having things that fit. I have yet to
make a dressform, but I'm saving my money for when Jean visits Ann Arbor again in the future. This is truly
the only way to make good fitting clothing. I would recommend this class to everyone who is interested in sewing for
themselves or whomever - it's the only way! Diane
Jean,
I enjoyed the whole process. The amazing thing is that the body form is really me. I proved that by putting my jacket
on it--I got the identical ripples on the back and the excess fabric around the arms formed the same "bulges" as
it did when I wore it. I hope I can salvage the fit of it, after all I have to use those great buttons I bought. Also, the
short pattern fitting demo was very inspiring and I look forward to learning more. Keep me posted.

Hi Jean,
I would strongly advise any one who just bought video #1 to go ahead and buy both video #1 and #2 at the same
time. You will need #2 and the quicker you buy it, the quicker you will be on your way to start sewing your perfect
fitting designs.

Jean,
This really works! I took my new dress form home, put one of my "skinny" dresses on it (that is, one that I
just fit into), and it fit the form! Needless to say, I am thrilled and ready to sew up a storm.
